Vettari

Text message terms

Effective

Recruiters who use Vettari can text candidates about roles they’ve talked about together. Each message comes from the recruiter or recruiting firm named in it (“the desk”), sent through Vettari, which is run by [business name].

What you’ll get

Messages about job opportunities you’ve discussed with the recruiter, arranging and reminding you of calls and interviews, and replies to your messages. No marketing for anyone else.

Message frequency varies: usually a few messages a week while you’re being considered for a role. Message and data rates may apply.

How you agree

Only by agreeing on the page your recruiter sends you, where you check a box saying it’s OK to text you, with these terms and the privacy policy linked. You agree for one number. Texts are never used to ask for that agreement. Agreeing to texts isn’t a condition of being considered for any role. Once you agree, the first text you get confirms it.

Help and stopping

  • Reply HELP for help, or write to [support email].
  • Reply STOP at any time to stop (END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE and QUIT work too). You’ll get one message confirming it, and no more texts from that number until you reply START to it.
  • You can also tell your recruiter, any way you like, that you don’t want texts. They’ll record it and stop.

The fine print

  • Carriers aren’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • How your number and messages are handled is in the privacy policy. Your number and your agreement to texts are never shared for anyone’s marketing.
  • Questions: [business name], [mailing address], [support email].
